Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has been actively engaging with business communities across multiple Indian cities to promote investment opportunities in the state. During his visits to Surat, Gujarat, and Ludhiana, Punjab, Yadav highlighted Madhya Pradesh's industrial potential, particularly in textiles, gems, jewelry, manufacturing, mining, and diamonds. He emphasized the state's pro-industry policies, availability of land banks, power, and water resources, and assured investors of streamlined administrative support, including a dedicated office in Gujarat to facilitate business operations. The state government has secured investment proposals worth over ₹15,606 crore from around 15 industrial groups, expected to generate more than 20,000 jobs. Concurrently, the Madhya Pradesh government launched a scholarship program under the Pratibhashali Vidyarthi Protsahan Yojana, providing financial assistance of ₹25,000 each to 94,234 meritorious students who scored above 75% in the Class 12 board exams to purchase laptops. The total expenditure for this initiative is approximately ₹235 crore. The laptop funds were directly transferred to the students' bank accounts in various districts, including Neemuch, Shajapur, Gwalior, and Damoh, with government officials felicitating the beneficiaries. These efforts reflect the state government's focus on fostering industrial growth and supporting education to create employment opportunities and promote development.
