Independent Purnia MP Pappu Yadav intensified his attack on the Election Commission of India during a news conference in Patna on 4 July. Referring to the ongoing voter-list review ahead of the 2025 Bihar Assembly polls, Yadav alleged the Commission had become “the office of the RSS,” and warned of a “decisive battle” to protect what he called Bihar’s identity and the rights of the poor.
