India's vice-captain and wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant sustained an injury to his left index finger during the opening day of the third Test match against England at Lord's on July 10, 2025. Following the injury, Pant left the field and was replaced behind the stumps by Dhruv Jurel, who took over wicketkeeping duties.
