Vaibhav Suryavanshi, a 14-year-old Indian cricketer, set a new record by scoring the fastest century in Youth One Day Internationals (ODIs) off just 52 balls during the fourth Youth ODI against England Under-19s at Worcester. He finished the innings with a career-best 143 runs from 78 balls, including 13 fours and 10 sixes. His explosive performance helped India Under-19s set a commanding total of 363/9 and eventually win the match by 55 runs, securing the Youth ODI series 2-1 against England. Suryavanshi's innings has been widely recognized as a historic achievement in youth cricket, further highlighting his rising stardom following his previous records across Youth ODIs, Youth Tests, and the IPL. Inspired by senior player Shubman Gill, Suryavanshi has expressed ambitions to score a double century in Youth ODIs.
