The Japan Coast Guard patrol vessel Itsukushima, commanded by Captain Naoki Mizoguchi, berthed at Chennai Port on 7 July as part of the service’s Global Ocean Voyage Training program. India’s Defence Ministry said the port call will include professional exchanges and joint drills with the Indian Coast Guard.
