Hip-hop duo Clipse will release “Let God Sort Em Out” on July 11 via Roc Nation, ending a 16-year gap since their last studio album. The Virginians unveiled the full track list this week, confirming appearances by Kendrick Lamar, Nas, Tyler, the Creator and others across 13 Pharrell-produced songs, including the single “Chains & Whips.” The project arrives after a high-profile split with Def Jam. Pusha T said the label attempted to block Lamar’s contribution—reportedly over a line referencing former President Donald Trump—at a moment when Universal Music Group faces litigation from Drake, another Lamar rival. Clipse secured a seven-figure buyout to exit their contract and proceed without restrictions. With new distribution now in place, the Thornton brothers will back the release with a U.S. tour that opens Aug. 3 in Boston and concludes Sept. 10 in Detroit, marking their most extensive road schedule since reuniting. The album’s rollout follows the advance tracks “Ace Trumpets” and “So Be It,” signalling the duo’s return to full-length form.
