A Royal Malaysia Police helicopter crashed into the Pulai River near Gelang Patah, Johor, during the MITSATOM 2025 nuclear drill exercise. The helicopter, a French-made AS355N model carrying five crew members, was conducting a training operation when it was forced to make an emergency landing and plunged into the river. All five occupants survived the crash, but two officers are reported to be in critical condition. Authorities have launched a search for the helicopter's black box to determine the cause of the accident. The incident occurred near Sungai Pulai and has resulted in at least five injuries.
