Arm Holdings Chief Executive Officer Rene Haas said the chip-design company is introducing Arm Coin (ticker ARM), a crypto token built on the Solana blockchain. Haas described the launch as the result of months of work between the semiconductor firm and policy makers aimed at linking high-performance computing with decentralized finance. Separately, trading activity around Pumpdotfun’s PUMP token is accelerating. Token holders have until the end of today to claim allocations from the project’s treasury pool, after which any unclaimed PUMP will be destroyed. BitGo said it now offers custody for the new asset, while crypto exchange Bitget opened a launchpool that lets customers stake its native BGB token for a share of 123.6 million PUMP, with staking scheduled to run through July 18.
