Binance has launched its first altcoin-only spot liquidity program, named the Altcoin LiquidityBoost Program, aimed at attracting smaller and mid-size market makers by focusing exclusively on lesser-traded altcoin pairs. The program supports 18 altcoin pairs including INIT, EOS, HYPER, PARTI, ICP, KERNEL, CFX, W, KMNO, IOTX, ONDO, TON, FIL, WCT, BABY, SXT, SYRUP, and STO. Key features of the program include tighter spreads, reduced slippage, and rebates of up to 1 basis point, designed to enhance the trading experience for altcoin traders. The qualification period for the program begins on June 9, 2025, at 00:00 UTC. This initiative is part of Binance’s broader strategy to increase market diversity and liquidity for altcoins, providing an alternative to Bitcoin-centric trading. Concurrently, Binance is promoting other activities such as the Binance Traders League with a $6 million prize pool starting on June 9, and has added new projects to its Binance Alpha platform, including tokens CA and POKT. Binance Square has also introduced a Live Trading Program to help traders stream their trades and earn higher commissions.
