
Coinbase has announced the listing of RedStone (RED) on its platform, with the token now available for trading on the Ethereum (ERC-20) network. Users can buy, sell, convert, send, receive, or store the asset via Coinbase's apps, subject to geographic restrictions. RedStone has been selected as the primary oracle provider for Securitize, a leading tokenization firm. This partnership will support tokenized funds from major financial institutions, including BlackRock, Apollo, and Hamilton Lane, as well as BUIDL and ACRED funds. It aims to unlock new DeFi use cases for tokenized assets, enhancing efficiency and reducing operational costs. AlphablockZ Ventures has made a $2.5M investment in RedStone, reflecting confidence in its vision and potential. In addition to RedStone, Coinbase has announced support for Aethir (ATH) and Maple Finance (SYRUP) tokens on the Ethereum network. Trading for both tokens is set to begin on March 13, 2025, at 9 AM PT. Users are advised to transfer these assets only via the Ethereum network to avoid loss of funds.
