Institutional interest in tokenized assets and stablecoins is accelerating, with companies such as BlackRock, Apollo, and Hamilton Lane collaborating with firms like Securitize to bring traditional assets onto blockchain networks including Aptos, Arbitrum, Avalanche, BNB Chain, and Ethereum. Recent podcast discussions featuring Securitize COO Michael Sonnenshein have highlighted how institutions are not only exploring but actively building with tokenization, citing factors like daily yield and decentralized finance (DeFi) access as drivers of adoption. The conversations also point to real estate as a leading candidate for tokenization. On the stablecoin front, Eco has launched its portal and Eco Routes on the Ink blockchain, enabling apps to access deep stablecoin liquidity and facilitate seamless transfers of stablecoins such as USDT0 across six major blockchains without the need for bridging. The Eco Portal is powered by Hyperlane. USDT0, built on LayerZero's OFT standard, aims to unify stablecoin liquidity by allowing 1:1 collateralized transfers between chains. Ink, built by Kraken and part of the Superchain family, has processed more than 35 million transactions since its mainnet launch in December 2024. Everclear now supports Inkonchain, and Fireblocks has added LayerZero to power stablecoins across over 35 chains. These integrations are enabling platforms such as Unichain and Inkonchain to offer fast, intuitive, and secure stablecoin payments.
