Semler Scientific Inc. said it has bought an additional 187 Bitcoin for about $20 million, paying an average price near $106,900 per token. The latest purchase lifts the medical software company’s total holdings to 4,636 BTC, valued at roughly $502 million at prevailing market prices. The company, which began allocating treasury funds to cryptocurrency in 2024, said its Bitcoin position has generated a 29% year-to-date return. Semler’s mark-to-net asset value now stands at 1.29, underscoring management’s view that Bitcoin is a primary treasury reserve asset.
