Bitmine, an investment entity associated with Tom Lee, has significantly increased its holdings of Ethereum (ETH) in recent days. The firm initially purchased an additional 52,475 ETH valued at $220 million, bringing its total holdings to 1,575,848 ETH worth approximately $6.6 billion. Subsequently, Bitmine acquired another 9,613 ETH for $45.6 million, raising its total Ethereum holdings to 1,585,461 ETH valued at $7.5 billion. Alongside Bitmine, other investment groups such as ETHZilla and SharpLink are also raising substantial funds—$10 billion and $5 billion respectively—to purchase more ETH. Collectively, these entities are preparing to deploy around $35 billion in buying pressure, which represents about 6% of the total Ethereum supply. This coordinated accumulation signals a notable increase in institutional demand for Ethereum.
