Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum has stated that there is no evidence or ongoing investigation in Mexico linking Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro to the Sinaloa drug cartel. This statement comes in response to accusations made by U.S. officials, including former Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi. Sheinbaum emphasized that if any proof exists, it should be presented, but as of now, Mexican authorities have no such information. She also noted that this is the first time Mexico has heard of such allegations. Meanwhile, Venezuela has reaffirmed before the International Criminal Court (ICC) that it has not committed any crimes under the Rome Statute.
