The World Health Organization (WHO) delivered its first medical shipment to Gaza since March 2, 2025, marking a critical resumption of aid after a more than three-month hiatus. The shipment consisted of nine truckloads carrying essential medical supplies, including 2,000 units of blood and 1,500 units of plasma. The supplies were transported from Kerem Shalom without any incidents of looting, despite the high-risk environment. WHO characterized the delivery as "a drop in the ocean" compared to the scale of needs in Gaza. Following this, Israel announced the resumption of humanitarian aid deliveries to Gaza, with the first cargo shipments entering the territory by air and land. This development came after Israel declared a daily pause in fighting in certain sectors, facilitating the flow of aid. Israeli authorities confirmed that humanitarian aid began to be distributed within Gaza, marking a notable shift in the delivery of assistance to the region.
