Gaza's civil defence agency has reported multiple casualties resulting from Israeli military operations over recent days. On June 28, the agency initially reported at least 23 deaths, including three children, due to strikes on residential areas. Later updates on the same day increased the death toll to 37, with nine children among the fatalities. On June 29, 23 people, including three children, were killed by Israeli air strikes and gunfire. The following day, June 30, at least 48 people were killed, including 21 at a seafront rest area. On July 3, the agency reported 25 deaths, including 12 in a strike on a school sheltering displaced Palestinians. More recent reports from July 5 indicated at least 20 to 32 people killed in Israeli operations, with a significant number of children injured in shelling targeting the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood east of Gaza City. Medical sources cited 70 Palestinians killed and 332 injured in the past 24 hours alone. The ongoing conflict has resulted in sustained casualties in the war-ravaged Palestinian territory, with calls for a ceasefire growing amid the violence nearing its 22nd month.
