The military spokesperson for Hamas' Al-Qassam Brigades, Abu Obeida, has confirmed ongoing operations by Palestinian fighters against Israeli occupation forces and settlers from Hebron (Al-Khalil) to Jenin. These actions are described as a response to aggression against the Al-Aqsa Mosque and the increasing crimes attributed to the Israeli army and settlers, which have severely impacted Palestinian lives. Abu Obeida called on Palestinian youth in the West Bank and Jerusalem to escalate resistance activities and rise against Israeli forces to deter further violence and prevent the implementation of plans to annex parts of the West Bank. On July 14, Hamas officially praised a shooting and armed clash near the Mavo Dotan settlement southwest of Jenin, honoring the deceased fighter Yusuf Walid Sheikh Ibrahim. Hamas emphasized that the escalating Israeli actions, particularly in Jenin and Tulkarm, will not break Palestinian resolve or diminish the momentum of resistance in the West Bank. The group reiterated its commitment to ongoing resistance against Israeli occupation forces and settlers and urged Palestinians in the West Bank and Jerusalem to intensify their resistance efforts in all forms to respond to Israeli crimes and the broader campaign against Palestinians, especially in Gaza.
