The Gaza Ministry of Health reported that Israeli airstrikes have resulted in the deaths of 70 Palestinians and injuries to 385 others within a 24-hour period. Earlier reports from Gaza's health authorities indicated 51 fatalities and 369 injuries during the same timeframe. The Palestinian Civil Defense reported 36 deaths, including children, caused by Israeli military actions. Israeli tanks stormed an aid distribution point near the Netzarim area in central Gaza, where civilians were waiting for assistance. Al-Awda Hospital received nine civilians killed in the past 24 hours, including a woman and six others. Additionally, at least 22 people were killed in Israeli attacks on one day, with nine of those deaths occurring near humanitarian aid centers. Hunger-related causes led to 11 additional deaths, including that of a child. The Israeli military disputed some casualty figures, suggesting that Hamas has been known to record deaths unrelated to the conflict.
