Israeli forces have conducted multiple airstrikes and ground raids across Gaza and the occupied West Bank amid escalating tensions. In Gaza, Israeli aircraft targeted northern Khan Younis, the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood in Gaza City, and areas west of Al-Nuseirat refugee camp. A residential apartment in Al-Zaytoun was hit, resulting in at least 28 Palestinian deaths, including three children, and several injuries. Another strike targeted civilians near an aid distribution point on Salah al-Din Street in central Gaza, killing three and injuring seven. Israeli drone strikes also hit displacement tents in Al-Mawasi, west of Khan Yunis, killing Abdul Rahman Maher Abu Latifa, a Civil Defense firefighter, along with his parents. His death raises the total number of Civil Defense casualties in Gaza to 137 since October 7, 2023. Meanwhile, Israeli occupation forces declared a state of alert in the West Bank, deploying helicopters and conducting extensive raids in villages near Ramallah, as well as storming towns and refugee camps including Dhahiriya, Al-Arroub, Sa’ir, Nablus, and Shuafat refugee camp. During these raids, tear gas grenades caused a fire in a Palestinian home in Al-Arroub. Israeli forces also detained Mohammed Abu Kuwaik in Al-Amari refugee camp. The Israeli military reportedly targeted Civil Defense member Noh Al-Shaghnoobi while he was rescuing wounded civilians south of Al-Zaytoun. The ongoing operations have resulted in multiple casualties and widespread destruction in both Gaza and the West Bank.
