Jordan said it carried out five airdrops of humanitarian and food supplies over Gaza on Saturday, working with the United Arab Emirates, France and Germany. UNRWA’s leadership called the famine the result of deliberate policies and said denying the scale of hunger "contradicts reality on the ground." Doctors Without Borders echoed that the situation constitutes famine, not mere food shortage. Germany, after participating in its first airdrops, said the volume of assistance reaching Gaza remains “very insufficient,” and UNICEF warned that children are dying at an unprecedented rate, urging the opening of road crossings for sustained aid flows.
