Rafael Devers went 4-for-4 with two homers and five runs batted in, leading the San Francisco Giants to a 12–3 victory over the Chicago Cubs on Wednesday night at Oracle Park. Devers delivered a solo shot in the first inning and a three-run blast in the sixth, giving the third baseman his 21st career multi-homer game and his second since joining San Francisco in mid-June. Third baseman Matt Chapman added his 200th career home run and drove in two runs, while Heliot Ramos also went deep as the Giants collected 13 hits. Rookie right-hander Carson Whisenhunt (2–1) allowed three runs over five innings to secure the win, escaping bases-loaded jams in the first and fifth. Chicago starter Colin Rea (10–6) was tagged for six runs in five innings, including a three-run homer by Nico Hoerner. The Giants have outscored opponents 28-9 during their four-game winning streak and have homered in 10 consecutive contests.
