Matt Smith has been cast as a villain in the upcoming Lucasfilm production 'Star Wars: Starfighter,' directed by Shawn Levy. The film stars Ryan Gosling in the lead role alongside Mia Goth, who also plays a villain. The movie is scheduled for release in theaters on May 28, 2027. Smith, known for his roles in 'Doctor Who' and 'House of the Dragon,' joins the cast to portray one of the antagonists in this standalone Star Wars film.
