Miranda Lambert and Chris Stapleton have released their first official duet, “A Song to Sing,” a disco-flavoured country single that arrived on streaming platforms on 11 July. The track, co-written with Nashville songwriters Jesse Frasure and Jenee Fleenor and produced by Dave Cobb, blends a ’70s-style groove with lyrics that celebrate enduring love. While both artists have shared the stage and songwriting credits before—Lambert co-wrote Stapleton’s 2023 cut “What Am I Gonna Do”—the new single marks their debut as equal vocal partners on record. Label representatives said the song will be serviced to U.S. country radio on 14 July, positioning two of the genre’s most decorated performers for a high-profile chart run at mid-summer.
