Can confirm according to sources that the Philadelphia 76ers are signing Jabari Walker to a two way contract…..interesting signing because walker is good enough for a standard deal. Shows where the market is at this point
Walker's been a strong defensive rebounder for Portland over last three years, who shot ball much better (38.9%) from deep last year, after having shot just 29.2% in his first two seasons. Sixers have now used up their three two-way slots: Hunter Sallis, Alex Reese and Walker. https://t.co/OMiV4LWm5l
The Sixers are signing Jabari Walker to a two-way day, per sources. @ShamsCharania was the first to report.
The Philadelphia 76ers have filled their final two-way roster slot by signing forward Jabari Walker, according to multiple people familiar with the agreement. Financial terms were not disclosed. Walker, 22, spent his first three NBA seasons with the Portland Trail Blazers, appearing in 188 games and establishing himself as one of the league’s stronger defensive rebounders. He improved his perimeter shooting to 38.9% from three-point range last season after hitting 29.2% over his first two years. The 6-foot-9 forward joins Hunter Sallis and Alex Reese as the 76ers’ three allotted two-way players for the 2025-26 campaign. Two-way contracts allow players to move between the NBA club and its G League affiliate while earning a prorated NBA salary for up to 50 regular-season games.
