The Los Angeles Clippers remained unbeaten in the NBA2K Summer League with a 67-58 victory over the crosstown Lakers at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas on Monday night. Second-year forward Jordan Miller paced the Clippers with 19 points as the team moved to 3-0 in exhibition play. Rookie guard Bronny James produced his best offensive showing of the summer, finishing with 17 points on 6-of-10 shooting—including 3-for-5 from beyond the arc—while adding five rebounds and five assists. Fellow Laker Cole Swider chipped in 16 points, but the club managed only 26 second-half points and went scoreless over the final three minutes. Neither side shot better than 40% from the field or 30% from three-point range, and the teams combined for 36 turnovers in a defensively slanted contest. An 11-0 Clippers run early in the fourth quarter provided the decisive separation. The defeat drops the Lakers to 1-2 with two games left on their Vegas slate; they face the Boston Celtics on Thursday. The Clippers, now 3-0, meet the Denver Nuggets on Wednesday.
