Chicago Bulls guard Jahmir Young exploded for 37 points to lead the club’s Summer League squad past the Milwaukee Bucks on Wednesday in Las Vegas. The undrafted Maryland product shot 12-of-17 from the field, including 6-of-7 from beyond the arc, and added seven makes on nine free-throw attempts. Young’s total is the highest by any player in this year’s NBA Summer League and matches the Bulls’ franchise record for the exhibition competition. He received support from JFL, who scored 23 points, and Brazilian forward Mãozinha, who added 15, as Chicago closed out its preliminary schedule with another win.
