The Chicago Bulls have unveiled their roster for the 2025 NBA Summer League in Las Vegas, highlighting first-round picks Noa Essengue and Lachlan Olbrich, second-year forward Matas Buzelis and free-agent point guard Yuki Kawamura. Former San Antonio guard Josh Primo and forward Maozinha Pereira are also on a squad that will again be led by assistant coach Billy Donovan III. Kawamura, a 5-foot-8 playmaker, is seeking a new two-way contract after logging 22 appearances with the Memphis Grizzlies last season, where he averaged 1.6 points, 0.5 rebounds and 0.9 assists. The 23-year-old was more productive in the G League, posting 12.7 points and 8.5 assists for the Memphis Hustle. If he earns a deal, he would become the first Japanese player to suit up for Chicago; his inclusion sets up a 14 July summer-league meeting with compatriot Keisei Tominaga of the Indiana Pacers. The Las Vegas tournament runs 10–20 July at UNLV’s Thomas & Mack Center and Cox Pavilion and features all 30 NBA teams. Chicago opens its schedule on 11 July against the Toronto Raptors. The Bulls’ announcement came as the Mavericks, Cavaliers, Hawks, Nuggets, Magic and Spurs likewise released their summer-league rosters.
