The New Orleans Pelicans have secured forward Herb Jones on a new three-year, $68 million contract extension, according to his agents Mark Bartelstein and Kieran Piller of Priority Sports, who disclosed the agreement to ESPN. Including the two seasons already remaining on his deal, the 25-year-old defensive specialist is now tied to the Pelicans for five years at a total value of $97 million. The agreement contains a player option for the 2029-30 campaign.
