The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) has announced the finalists for the 2025 Bowerman Award, recognizing the top collegiate track and field athletes. The women's finalists include Pamela Kosgei from New Mexico, Doris Lemngole from Alabama, and Savannah Sutherland from Michigan. Kosgei is noted for her NCAA outdoor championships in the 5,000 meters and 10,000 meters. Lemngole holds NCAA titles in the 5,000 meters indoor and the 3,000 meters steeplechase outdoor. Sutherland set the collegiate outdoor record and won the NCAA outdoor championship in the 400-meter hurdles. On the men's side, the finalists are Ja'Kobe Tharp from Auburn, Ezekiel Nathaniel from Baylor, and Jordan Anthony from Arkansas. Tharp is the NCAA indoor 60-meter hurdles champion and outdoor 100-meter hurdles champion. Nathaniel won the NCAA outdoor 400-meter hurdles championship and earned a silver medal in the NCAA indoor 400 meters. Anthony secured NCAA indoor and outdoor championships in the 60-meter and 100-meter events, respectively.
