Google Opens Pixel 10 and Pixel Watch 4 Preorders With Heavy Carrier Subsidies

Google has opened preorders for its full Pixel 10 smartphone line and the Pixel Watch 4, following this week’s Made by Google launch. The four-phone range starts at $799 for the 6.3-inch Pixel 10 and rises to $1,799 for the foldable Pixel 10 Pro Fold, which will reach customers on 9 October; the other three handsets ship on 28 August. All models run on the new Tensor G5 processor, carry seven years of operating-system support, and—uniquely among current Android flagships—offer T-Satellite connectivity for emergency messaging when conventional networks are out of reach. U.S. carriers are using aggressive subsidies to lure early buyers. T-Mobile will give a free Pixel 10 or up to $1,000 off higher-tier versions with an eligible trade-in or new line, while Verizon is offering a free Pixel 10 Pro on its Unlimited Ultimate plan and up to $1,000 toward the Pro Fold. AT&T’s promotion prices the base model at $7.99 a month or offers a free Pixel 10 Pro with any Pixel trade-in. Smaller operators including US Mobile and Xfinity Mobile are advertising discounts of up to $1,000. Retailers are layering additional incentives on top of Google’s official pricing. The Google Store is bundling up to $350 in credit for accessory purchases, Amazon is providing gift cards worth as much as $300, and Best Buy is matching Google’s store-credit offer with e-gift cards. In Europe, Google is offering trade-in rebates of up to €850, while U.K. buyers can receive up to £760 off the Pixel 10 Pro series. Google’s second-generation smartwatch, the Pixel Watch 4, is also available to order ahead of its 9 October release. The 41 mm model starts at $349 and the 45 mm version at $399, with LTE variants costing $100 more. The watch features a brighter domed display, 25 percent longer battery life, a Snapdragon W5 Gen 2 platform, and standalone emergency satellite communication, positioning it as a direct rival to Apple’s top-tier wearables.
