Paytm received in-principle approval from India's Reserve Bank to operate as a payment services provider for online merchants after Ant Group exited, leading to a 5.2% share price increase to a 52-week high of ₹1,178.30. Brokerage firms including Citi and Morgan Stanley maintained buy or equal-weight ratings on various stocks such as Paytm, Apollo Hospitals, Nykaa, HAL, and Suzlon, with target prices ranging from ₹70 to ₹8,260.
