A Pakistan Air Force contingent has arrived at RAF Fairford, England, to take part in the 2025 Royal International Air Tattoo, one of the world’s largest military-aviation shows. The deployment includes two JF-17C Block III multirole fighters from No. 08 Squadron “Haiders” and a C-130H Hercules transport aircraft. The fighters covered roughly 6,000 kilometres from Pakistan to the United Kingdom, completing long-range air-to-air refuelling en route, according to video released by the PAF. The appearance marks the first showing of the Block III variant—Pakistan’s most advanced JF-17 model—at the annual event. RIAT 2025, scheduled for this weekend at Fairford, will feature aircraft and crews from more than 20 nations, including the United States, which is exhibiting a U-2S Dragon Lady reconnaissance plane among other assets.
