The 2025 RAF Global Air & Space Chiefs Conference commenced on July 16 at RAF Fairford, featuring over 60 air and space chiefs from around the world. The event included high-level discussions on global strategic contexts, autonomy and sixth-generation air power, and countering emerging threats. Keynote speaker Lt Gen Shawn Bratton of the US Space Force addressed the session on establishing control and building resilience. Panels included space chiefs from the UK, US, France, and Australia. AM (Retd) Greg Bagwell, President of the Air & Space Power Association, welcomed the delegates and summarized the first day, emphasizing the evolving nature of air power in terms of speed, reach, and altitude. Concurrently, two JF-17C Block III multirole fighters from the Pakistan Air Force's No. 08 Squadron "Haiders" arrived at RAF Fairford to participate in the 2025 Royal International Air Tattoo (RIAT). The Pakistan Air Force's presence at RIAT was also highlighted during the event.
