A five-bedroom Bermuda-style house at 145 Clarendon Avenue in Palm Beach has been placed on the market for $18.9 million, becoming the latest property to trade inside the federally restricted security zone that surrounds former President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago Club. Built in 1951 on roughly half an acre, the single-story residence offers about 5,276 square feet of interior and loggia space, a three-car garage, a walled garden and a pool. Listing agent Margit Brandt of Premier Estate Properties is marketing the home as either a renovation project or a teardown for a new build, citing “soaring ceilings” and an expansive kitchen as selling points. Ownership records show the property last changed hands for $17 million in June 2022, when fashion designer Catherine H. Prevost transferred it to 145 Clarendon PB LLC, an entity managed by attorney A. Max Zaretsky. The house is the fourth east of the Intracoastal Waterway and sits near the intersection of South County Road and South Ocean Boulevard, an area that is sealed off to non-residents whenever Trump is in town. The listing is one of only three currently on the Multiple Listing Service within the seven-block security perimeter. The others, also marketed by top local brokers, are priced at $48.85 million and $23.95 million. According to transaction data, five properties and a vacant lot have sold in the zone this year at prices between $14 million and $27.5 million, underscoring continued demand for homes that benefit from both heightened security and proximity to the ocean.
