Draganfly Inc. said it has secured a strategic order for its Commander 3XL Unmanned Aerial Vehicle systems from a globally recognised defense contractor that provides persistent surveillance platforms to U.S. and allied forces. The company described the buyer as a long-standing supplier to the Department of Defense but did not disclose the value or number of units involved. The Commander 3XL drones offer modular payload architecture, extended endurance and AI-enabled mission control. According to Draganfly, the systems will be integrated with existing ground-based command centres to strengthen perimeter security, early warning and real-time situational awareness for military operations. While financial terms were not released, the sale represents Draganfly’s largest military win to date and broadens its presence in the defence UAV market. Draganfly shares rose about 9% in pre-market trading following the announcement.
