President Vladimir Putin used the plenary session of the Agency for Strategic Initiatives’ "Strong Ideas for a New Time" forum in Moscow to describe what he called Russia’s “unique development model,” rooted in the initiative and energy of ordinary citizens rather than political or business elites. Putin said the approach has enabled the government to create targeted mechanisms for advancing key sectors of the economy, encourage competition among entrepreneurs and support domestic brands and technological innovation. The president added that safeguarding Russia’s traditions and national identity remains paramount as the country navigates an increasingly complex global environment.
