Russia Lifts Refining Runs and Accelerates Repairs to Meet Fuel Demand

Russia has increased oil processing and fuel production in response to stronger domestic demand, Interfax reported on Friday. The news agency said refineries across the country are running at higher utilization rates to lift output of gasoline, diesel and other petroleum products. In parallel, Moscow has accelerated maintenance and repair work at key refining complexes to ensure equipment reliability and minimise downtime. The measures are intended to stabilise supplies and prevent shortages as consumption rises.
