Saudi Arabian club Al Nassr has reached a final agreement with Bayern Munich to sign French winger Kingsley Coman for a package just below €30 million, according to people familiar with the negotiations. The 29-year-old is expected to undergo a medical and sign a three-year contract in Riyadh later this week. Coman, who joined Bayern permanently in 2017 after an initial loan from Juventus, departs having made 339 appearances, scoring 72 goals and providing 71 assists while winning multiple Bundesliga titles and the 2020 Champions League. He has been capped 58 times by France. The move continues an aggressive recruitment drive by Al Nassr, which this summer has already added centre-back Iñigo Martínez from Barcelona and forward João Félix. It also underscores the Saudi Pro League’s broader push to raise its profile, coming as the competition’s French broadcast rights were sold to streamer Zack Nani for undisclosed terms.
