AC Milan said on Saturday it has ended Kyle Walker’s season-long loan, sending the England right-back back to parent club Manchester City with immediate effect. Walker, 35, moved to San Siro last summer after falling out of favour under City manager Pep Guardiola. He made 16 appearances for the Rossoneri, starting 12 times, but never fully displaced Davide Calabria in Stefano Pioli’s lineup. Walker’s stay at the Etihad may be brief. The Sun has reported that the defender has agreed in principle to join Everton on a one-year deal, though the two Premier League clubs have yet to decide whether the switch would be another loan or a permanent transfer.
