The 33-year-old striker, who joined Newcastle from Bournemouth in the summer of 2020, made 130 appearances and scored 49 goals during his tenure at St James' Park. Wilson, who has earned nine caps for England, expressed pride in having worn the club's iconic number 9 shirt. Newcastle United confirmed the departure, marking the end of Wilson's time at the club. As of now, Wilson is a free agent and has not signed with another team.
