Sunderland has completed the signing of Simon Adingra from Brighton in a deal valued at €21 million plus €3 million in add-ons, totaling approximately €24 million. The transfer fee equates to around £18 million plus £2.5 million in add-ons. Adingra has signed a five-year contract with Sunderland after arriving in the North East and undergoing a medical examination. Brighton’s Fabian Hurzeler commented that Adingra sought regular playing time, which the club could not guarantee due to competition in wide positions.
