Google Cloud and Hugging Face have announced new integrations and tools to enhance AI and machine learning capabilities. Google Cloud Run now supports deploying Meta Llama 3.1 8B on Serverless GPUs with Text Generation Inference, as demonstrated in Cloud AI Tuesday #4. Additionally, Hugging Face's Hub is more natively integrated into Google Cloud's Vertex AI Model Garden, allowing users to search and deploy thousands of generative AI models with ease. Another update includes a new Hugging Face Space for querying datasets with natural language. Furthermore, a new notebook for fine-tuning Google's Gemma on Vertex AI using Hugging Face's PyTorch DLC, including SFT & LoRA, has been released. Athina IDE and Sandbox also offer new functionalities for AI experimentation and dataset imports.
