Nvidia on 12 August released GeForce Game Ready driver 580.97, adding DLSS 4 Multi Frame Generation to Grand Theft Auto V Enhanced and the newly launched enhanced edition of Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II. The update lets owners of RTX 50-series graphics cards generate additional frames for smoother motion and higher frame rates while retaining ray-traced effects. Rockstar’s decade-old blockbuster can now pair its full suite of ray-traced ambient occlusion, global illumination, shadows and reflections with DLSS 4, while Ninja Theory’s Hellblade II gains the technology alongside a new ‘Very High’ graphics preset and Dark Rot game mode. Nvidia says the driver can lift frame rates by up to 3.9 times on supported hardware, with internal tests showing an RTX 5090 averaging 485 fps at 4K in GTA V with all settings maxed. The 580.97 driver is available immediately through GeForce Experience and Nvidia’s website.
