Samsung is expanding the beta program for its One UI 8 software, based on Android 16, to a wider range of Galaxy smartphones and smartwatches starting August 11, 2025. The initial beta rollout will include the Galaxy S24 series, Z Fold 6, and Z Flip 6 in countries such as India, South Korea, the U.S., and the U.K. Additional devices, including the Galaxy S23 series, Z Fold 5, Z Flip 5, and several A-series models (A55, A54, A36, A35), are expected to receive the update in September. The stable version of One UI 8 will begin rolling out in September, starting with the Galaxy S25 series. Samsung also announced that more Galaxy Watch models will receive the One UI 8 update later in 2025. This update is anticipated to introduce new navigation options and enhanced features, including early detection capabilities on the Galaxy Watch 8. Samsung has recently launched new foldable Galaxy phones and the Series 8 smartwatches in Argentina, complementing the software update rollout.
