NASA's SpaceX Crew-11 mission is scheduled to launch no earlier than 12:09 p.m. ET on Thursday, July 31, 2025. The crew, consisting of NASA astronauts Zena Cardman and Mike Fincke, Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) astronaut Kimiya Yui, and Roscosmos cosmonaut Oleg Platonov, began their official quarantine period on July 18 as part of pre-launch preparations. The mission will travel to the International Space Station (ISS), where the current Expedition 73 and Axiom Mission 4 crews have recently completed joint science and maintenance activities. Meanwhile, the SpaceX Crew-10 mission is preparing for its return to Earth next month. Medical evaluations, including heart scans and hearing tests, have been conducted for the Expedition 73 crew as ground doctors continue to monitor their health data. The Crew-11 astronauts have also shared insights into their backgrounds and mission objectives in recent interviews.
