SpaceX has conducted a series of static fire tests on its Starship Flight 10 vehicle, designated Ship 37, at the Starbase facility. The testing took place on a modified orbital launch mount at Pad 1, which was temporarily adapted following the destruction of the previous pad in a Ship 36 explosion on June 18, 2025. On July 31, Ship 37 successfully completed a single-engine static fire test, marking the first stand-alone static fire on the new launch mount adapter. This was followed by a full-duration six-engine static fire on August 1, bringing the vehicle closer to readiness for its upcoming test flight. The launch is currently targeted for mid-August 2025. After completing the static fire tests, Ship 37 was removed from Pad 1 to allow for the removal of the temporary static fire stand and to prepare the pad for Booster 16 integration and full stack assembly. SpaceX engineers are actively working to restore the pad to its original configuration ahead of the Flight 10 launch. The successful static fire tests represent a key milestone in SpaceX's efforts to resume Starship test flights after recent setbacks.
