SpaceX is preparing for the 10th test flight of its Starship megarocket, targeting a launch in early August 2025. Initially, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) advisory had set a no-earlier-than (NET) date of June 29, 2025, for the launch from Starbase in Texas, involving Ship 36 and Booster 16 aboard a Block 2 Super Heavy. However, the launch schedule has since shifted, with SpaceX CEO Elon Musk confirming the flight will occur next month, approximately 69 days after the previous launch. As of late July, Starship 37, designated for Flight 10, has been moved to the launch site at Starbase and is undergoing preflight preparations, including static fire testing on the newly retrofitted Orbital Launch Mount (OLM) stand at Pad 1. These tests are scheduled around road and beach closures planned for late July and early August. Meanwhile, Ship 38 is undergoing payload bay door testing and cryogenic testing in preparation for Flight 11. Musk also mentioned plans for a V3 Starship launch by the end of the year. The upcoming Flight 10 will be the fourth Starship launch in 2025, with the last three launches each involving different configurations.
