President Donald Trump said on Thursday that U.S. equity and cryptocurrency markets have reached new peaks, citing record levels in the Nasdaq Composite and surging prices for digital assets such as Bitcoin. In a social-media post, Trump wrote, “Tech stocks, industrial stocks and the Nasdaq hit all-time record highs! Crypto, ‘through the roof.’” He added that chipmaker Nvidia’s share price has risen about 47% since the administration imposed a 145% tariff on Chinese goods on April 9. Bitcoin notched a fresh all-time high on Wednesday, extending a months-long rally that has pushed the broader digital-asset market sharply higher. Trump said the latest market performance shows the country is now “back.”
