Investigators allege the programmer helped third parties “misuse” the Ethereum blockchain, according to multiple reports from crypto news outlets on 11 August. The developer, whose legal name has not been disclosed, has denied any wrongdoing and said through representatives that they are prepared to cooperate fully with law-enforcement officials.
