Actor Vincent D’Onofrio, who reprises Wilson Fisk/Kingpin in Disney+’s “Daredevil: Born Again,” said the creative team already has a roadmap for a third season, even though Marvel Television has not formally ordered one. In an interview with industry outlet Awards Buzz, D’Onofrio explained that continuing beyond the forthcoming, already-green-lit second season will depend on audience response. “If they allow us to continue, we have a plan,” he said. “It’s up to the fans to watch, to get excited. It’s up to us to please them and get the story right.” “Daredevil: Born Again” reunited D’Onofrio with Charlie Cox’s Matt Murdock and is currently filming Season 2. A third installment would mark the franchise’s first three-season run since its original Netflix incarnation, underscoring Disney’s search for longer-form series within the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
